Without using the notes, how would you describe what kind of monster Geryon is (fully opinion based)? What was his purpose in canto 17? With that in mind, he is deemed as a horrible monster but do you think that in canto 17 he seems like a monster (Aside from the physical attributes)?

3. In canto 27, who is the flame and why is he in hell? What is the difference between this flame’s “voyage” and Dante’s ? Who came out successful?
