1. Comparative Health Care Analysis Group Presentation) – This group project assignment designed to provide students an opportunity to engage in critical analysis of health care on a global level. The United States spends nearly 2.1 trillion dollars on health care (The McKinney Global Institute, 2009), more than any other country even so, the United States ranked last across a range of measures of healthcare in comparison of 19 industrialized countries, despite spending more than twice as much per person on health as any of the other countries. Each group will be asked to critically analyze the health care policy of Costa Rica and Columbia
