250- 300 word reflection

Examine the Midterm Essay prompt and instructions. Then, address the items in the bulleted list in a 250 – 300 word reflection:

• Re-write the prompt in your own words and identify the areas of the prompt that require clarification. It’s ok to say what you don’t understand. That’s the point with this assignment.
• Lay out a plan of action, i.e. what steps you need to take to write this essay by the due date. The more specific you can be the better. You could even include a schedule/timeline.

Formatting and Tips

You can use first-person here (“I”) and a more casual tone, but please do still use class-appropriate language.

Write about 50-75 words per reply (two required). You need to offer new insights, examples, justifications etc. Address your classmate by name in your reply, since it’s a discussion and it helps me in tracking the discussion in Canvas. The point of the exercise is to engage with each other and try to work together to write the best essays you can. Remember the syllabus’s directions about maintaining professional standards of engagement and communication.

You must post to the board before you can see any classmates’ posts. Do NOT “test” the board with a short post. That will be your post and you cannot delete or edit your original post. Make sure it’s what you want to say on the first time.
