Question Description
For the final project each student is expected to write a 4-5 (1000-1500 words for undergraduates) 8–10 (2000–2500 words for grad students) page paper in 12 pt times new roman font with 1” margins. The paper may be based on one of the four categories of research: 1) Urban Development 2) Poetics and Culture 3) Social Issues (Gender/Race Inequality) or 4) War/Revolution (Example: Holy Defense Cinema). You may propose ideas other than these as long as they fit the theme of our class and at least one of our 3 main areas of study: Urbanism, Middle East, or Film.

2. What is the topic you are going to work on? Social Issues (Gender/Race Inequality)
3. What is your main spatial focus? (This can be a specific building, monument, neighborhood, city, country, or region. For instance: Turkish baths, Tahrir Square, Beirut City, Iraq and Iran, Persian-Gulf region, Middle East, ME Immigrant Homes in the US.)
