Oakwood University Week 3 Devotional Message of God Discussion
Question Description
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands” (Psalm 138:7-8, King James Version).
“You might sometimes feel that God has abandoned you when you needed Him most. But through faith you need to hold fast to what you know is true about God, even when you cannot see any results. Although we are inclined to plan our whole course through life, we can confess, together with David, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me.” In the time of his worst trial, David still trusted God to protect him. Be assured that the Lord will never neglect the work of His hands, so even in the dark times, remember that God is faithful and you can never drift too far away from the sphere of His love” (Christian Art Gifts, February 19).
