your homework will come from two documents: Fragments and Comma Splices and Fused Sentences (Questions 1-20).

Type all of your homework into a single document, and make sure you label each part of the homework so that I know which question set you are answering.

For Fragments Exercise 3, you can label 1-20 and write complete sentence or fragment next to each answer. For example, number 1 is a complete sentence, but 2 is a fragment, so you would write:

1. complete sentence.

2. fragment

You do not need to copy and paste. You do not need to retype the entire sentence. You do not need to correct the sentences.

Here’s an example from an exercise where you have to determine if a line of text is a complete sentence of a fragment:

1. Complete sentence. (fragment because it doesn’t have a subject.)
2. Fragment (correct)
3. Complete sentence (correct)

• If it’s wrong, leave your incorrect answer but highlight it. Write your correction in parentheses. It is not enough to just write the correct answer. You must also explain why you got it wrong.
• If you answered correctly, write the word correct in the parentheses.
