***Special note . . . when constructing kinship charts, EGO is not a specific person from the text. For example, for “Death and Mourning,” EGO might be the dead person. You can decide if the dead person is either male or female. Once you have decided who EGO represents (the dead wife or the dead husband, for example), then the rest of your kinship chart is created from there.
