W5: Functions

Discussion Points:
Please select one new function that you have not used before, look it up, and teach us all about it. Please include (1) what the function is, (2) how it works, (3) explain how you might use it or in what situation it may be helpful, (4) explain how what you have learned in the course so far helped you in learning this additional function. You may also explain how difficult or easy it was to learn the new functions and why. Please share everything you learned with your peers. Using functions is a valuable way of displaying information in an Excel spreadsheet. If you have experience in using functions in MS Word tables, you may compare and contrast using calculations in both programs.
