In class 16 (Negotiation and conflict resolution in HRM), we had a chance to explore the five different types of conflict management style (CMS).
- How would you define your own CMS? Describe your CMS based on 2 dimensions.
- Why do you believe so? Please provide an example based on your previous experience (i.e., conflict situation with others) and describe how you handled the given situation.
- Please explain when (i.e., under what negotiation situations) your CMS could be the most effective (Hint: you can find this answer in our PPT slide). Do you agree or disagree?
