Choose one of the links from the list and answer the following questions.

Define and describe the link you chose and the reason you opted for the particular link.

Describe some of the information available under the provider or healthcare setting you chose and give examples of how this information could be valuable to you in your future healthcare career.

Dear Students – I chose the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers as this particular topic interests me as it pertains especially to the state of Florida. In January 2020, the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP) was renamed the National Post-acute and Long-term Care Study (NPALS). The information NCHS plans to collect about adult day services centers and participants and residential care communities and residents will not change. Publications and products from the 2012-2018 waves that have already been published to Study Results and Publications will continue to describe the study as NSLTCP.The information from these surveys will help me to better understand and learn more about this particular group or community and trends in my state.Based on this information, the formulation of health policies, as well as healthcare can be studied and improved in this much needed area.Thank you.

Week 5 Assignment: Evidence-Based Practice Reflection Paper

Objective: Understand the complexities of evidence-based practice in health care.

• After reading the chapters assigned this week, access the website page of Duke University and complete the tutorial.
• Go through the slides at your own pace, paying attention to the Quiz Yourself sections.

After you review the slides, compose a reflection paper that incorporates the following:

• What are the benefits of evidence-based practice?
• According to the EBP Step 3 ‘Acquire the Evidence’ describe how would you find the appropriate sources to answer the question you formulated in EBP Step 2 ‘Ask’?

Include a title page and a reference list. You must cite and reference the website and at least one other source. You may use your text as a source.
