Dear Hiring Manager:

I appreciate the time and welcoming visit I was greeted with from our interview last month at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise office three weeks ago. I am thankful for giving me the option of being welcomed on as the new marketing intern. I can really feel that every employee there is valued to their fullest potential.

I feel honored to be given the opportunity to have a chance to work for multiple companies within my search for the best fit for myself and the future of my career. However, I have found the best fit for myself at a different company so I decided to take them up on their offer. I truly do apologize that in the end, we couldn’t see it through but in the long run the other offer the other company introduced was too good to turn down.

With that, I do value the time you took out of your day interviewing me. I feel like we could still be acquaintances down the road. Thank you for considering me as a candidate for your position and the warm welcoming feeling at the office.
