IHS 4938 Florida Gulf Coast University Obesity in Adults Annotated Bibliography Paper

Question Description

I’m working on a health & medical report and need support to help me study.

These are 2 papers, same concept – just a different research article to go along with each paper.

Annotated Bibliography 1 & 2

Select a research article (2 different articles for each bibliography) relevantto your project topic (Obesity in adults: 26 – 50 years of age).

Please be certain that the primaryresearch articles chosen for this assignment represent the followingaspects of the problem being investigated: risk factors/causes, negativeconsequences, treatment, and prevention. Ensuringthese aspects are covered through choices for Annotated Bibliographieswill be a time saver for the remaining assignments in this course.

Construct the annotated bibliography in 3 sections: the citation, the annotated bibliography, and application.

The citation should be in APA format.

The annotated bibliography shouldbe concise, and accurate. It is written in the active tense and doesnot include one’s personal opinion. The first sentence of the annotatedbibliography should give information regarding the nature of thearticle. Do not copy sentences verbatim from the article. This isplagiarism. The annotated bibliography should be 1-2 paragraphs inlength. The key is for the annotated bibliography to be succinct, yethave enough information for the reader to decide whether s/he wants toread the article in its entirety. This section is similar to describing aresearch study for a literature review as you did in your ResearchMethods course.

The applicationsection should include specific information regarding how this articlerelates to your assigned topic, the Healthy People 2020 objectives, andSustainability principles.

Additional assessment guidelines can be found on the Annotated Bibliography Grading Rubric. (pasted below) Be sure to review the Annotated Bibliography Grading Rubric before submitting your assignment for assessment purposes.

The Do’s and the Do Not’s for your Annotated Bibliography:
