3.) Glenda and Pat meet while waiting in line for coffee. They are immediately attracted to each and, after brief introductions and pleasantries, Glenda asks Pat to dinner that evening. During dinner the two initially share common first date information—hobbies, hometowns, professions, and so on—but they soon begin sharing information of a more personal nature such as hopes for the future and belief systems. By the end of the evening, Glenda and Pat have already discovered a great deal of common ground, and both parties excitedly agree to a second date.
