There are few things that the scores reveal. Interpreting the result in simple diagnosis says that although there is nothing below neutral point of 4, Purposes and Attitudes for Change are the one where the organization needs to really improve with a score of 3.6. Structure and Family Oriented are not far behind in needing improvement with the score of 3.2 and 3 respectively. According to this questionnaire, Leadership is the most strongest aspect of this organization whereas Relationships, Helpful Mechanisms and Reward are also good aspect of the organization with the score of 2.2, 2.2 and 2.4.
For the smooth operation of any organization and its sustainability, all these aspects of an organization must be good or at least should be on a neutral level. This organization is doing that or trying to do things right but further improvement would only help the organization. It is lacking in its purpose a bit, or there could be a bit too may things acting as purpose. So, they should have a single or at most couple of purposes. Similarly, it has a hard time embracing change. As change is inevitable, they should try to change, either in terms of training their employees to the recent trends and technologies or changing their approach to do things. They should try to properly define their structure. There should be more activities and gatherings aimed at the employees family as well, rather than just for the employees. The people of this organization are helpful and they should continue doing that. Every organization should recognize and reward the employees for their work and same applies to this. They already have good leaders and they should continue to lead in this way for the betterment of the organization.
This organization has mostly got thing working in a positive way. It should try to improve a few things while keeping its standard in a few others.

Need for Assessment
According to Rogers and Fong, (2000), organizational assessment involves the following steps (a) Identifying symptoms (b) establishing the facts and causes (c) Evaluating and selecting a solution (d) presenting the results. This questionnaire is a survey instrument used for identification of the problems. As per McFillen et.al (2013), an assessment initiates change and optimal intervention and a problem state knowledge is required (by data collection) for developing a causal interference within the operations (change in small increments). This diagnostic process allows for quick implementation of the change and due to its size is also retractable if the testing of the results doesnt give the desired results.
Questionnaire Results
In my response to the questionnaire about my employers organizational assessment, the scores indicated that I consider my company to have a good purpose, a strong leadership and an attitude for change. The median of other categories is 3.96, which goes on to show that they do the required to keep things running smoothly and not lagging in any category.
Analysis
The company has successfully managed in messaging and creating awareness of its mission and vision statement among the employees. It is also part of the appraisal process where evaluation is based on how well ones performance is aligned with the vision. The Company provides great freedom on developing, implementing or proposing new changes to the field and the leadership takes pride in achieving and encouraging innovation.
Also from the analysis, the company has a flexible division of labor where employees from different team can perform other teams function just to have visibility and understand how their own work affects the others. It also leads to learning and updating any best practices that they see fit to bring into their teams. As any large company, because of their professionalism, they are on par with the rest of the industry to provide and include aspects related to rewards, relationships and family values.
