Write three paragraphs sharing your memory of your most significant experience with art. This could be any art experience, not just limited to visual art, as long as it is something that was significant and memorable for you. It could be art you saw or experienced that was present in your or a relative’s home, church or school. It could be something you saw or experienced in your town or on a trip.

In your first paragraph, describe where, how, what and when of your art experience.

In your second paragraph, using the best of your memory, describe the art you experienced. Use vocabulary related to your senses. What sort of colors and shapes did you see? What sounds did you hear? What textures were in the artwork? Use the vocabulary of words from the elements and principles in your pinned handouts.

In your final paragraph describe how this experience made/makes you feel. Do you feel the artwork was good or bad? Explain why you feel this way. Give a specific example. Why did you choose this experience over any others? What resonated with you?

Each paragraph should have a minimum of seven sentences. Be thoughtful and reflective. Be sure to used descriptive language. Take those of us who where not there on your journey.
