Students are to process their assigned book in terms of the Newman & Newman’s Psychosocial Approach, (i.e. social, biological & psychological development of the main character) using the appropriate age/stage/development. Papers must include at least one therapeutic intervention (must explicitly be identified) to address a realistic issue taken from the life of one of the main characters of the book. Intervention(s) must address one of the three developmental stages as mentioned above also.

Learners are also be required to compare/contrast another theory model not the one they used to complete Book Report #1 with the psycho-social approach as discussed in Newman & Newman textbook. Learners are to use a theory in both Book Reports and theory must be different.

Book Report #2 must be 6-pages in length NO more than this and NO less than this. Papers less than this amount will not be accepted and will receive a “0”. Papers more than this will not be accepted and will receive a “0”. A “Student” 7th Edition title page NOT the “Professional” title page and the References page should be included also. In-text citations should be used. Remember all of this is a part of APA writing. Keep the thought, but do not use the author’s words.
