Assignment

You will be required to create a 15 minute ball hockey plan in which you will focus on a particular skill that will improve your game play. Before the Unit starts, you will answer Question 1 and 2 which will be assessed on Criteria B. We will then execute the drills over the course of the unit and finish off by answering Question 3 and 4, which will be assessed against Criteria D. At the beginning of every class, you will gather all of your own equipment and start your drills.

Step 1: Choose Your Sport (Hockey)

  • Hockey
  • Skills Shooting (wrist shots only), Stickhandling (ball control), and Passing.

Step 3: Research and Learn about the sport. What skills may you be interested in developing? What are the technical components that you should be aware of?
