Question Description

The following is the assignment. I have also attached a word document with same info:

Assignment

You will be required to create a 15 minute ball hockey plan in which you will focus on a particular skill that will improve your game play. Before the Unit starts, you will answer Question 1 and 2 which will be assessed on Criteria B. We will then execute the drills over the course of the unit and finish off by answering Question 3 and 4, which will be assessed against Criteria D. At the beginning of every class, you will gather all of your own equipment and start your drills.

Step 1: Choose Your Sport (Hockey)

Hockey

Skills Shooting (wrist shots only), Stickhandling (ball control), and Passing.

Step 3: Research and Learn about the sport. What skills may you be interested in developing? What are the technical components that you should be aware of?

Create 3 drills that will enhance your game play. Each drill should last for approximately 5 mins and should be repeated several times. Drills 1 and 2 will be sport specific and Drill 3 will be a movement drill that is universal to all invasive sports. Think of a Strength and Conditioning activity that could enhance your speed, agility, strength, power, coordination, etc, and explain how this drill can help you improve your skills and why it’s relevant to your chosen activity.
