Tell me what your number one biggest takeaway was from this 12 weeks together that you will add to your career. Also, tell me one thing you will let go of that no longer serves your career.

Hello everyone,

In my opinion, It is impossible to mention only one biggest takeaway from these 12 sessions because for me there were lots of things that I gained from taking this course. If I want to summarize it in one sentence, I will tell you I learned how to become a successful leader. To achieve it, I will put the concept of a servant leader at the beginning of my list. I have already experienced the desirable outcomes of servant leadership in my previous job (when I wasn’t familiar with the concept and perform it unconsciously). Now, I’m familiar with the concept and the philosophy of it. Hence, my knowledge is grown up and I will try my best to become a servant and a successful leader.
And of course, there are so many things that I will let them go especially after becoming familiar with the concept of growth mindset and how we can control our minds and grow our skills. In this regard, one of the most important things that I will put all my efforts to let go of that is stress because I’m fully aware of its huge impacts on my health and career. Before this class, I didn’t know how to control my stress but now I know how I can manage it through a growth mindset.

Although, I have learnt many meaningful things from this class, as my number 1 I would pick – when holding performance appraisals, and I was encountering the halo error. When we discussed this in class, it made me realize of 2 employees who are very great at certain tasks, but get away with other things that we as supervisors do not pay attention to. One is always taking a long lunch, and one is constantly late to work. We are supervisors, and upper management do not pay attention or give attention to this since they perform really well on certain tasks. I realized we allowed 1 thing to taint the rest of the view! This is something I am going to be mindful about going forward.

One thing, I would also like to mention, I have started a weekly journal, where I write down what I am thankful for. I think this was something amazing you had us do, it really made us think deeper into our thoughts, and that’s why I am going to continue it. It is something positive, and nice to read if you are not having a great week.

One thing that I will let go of is, trying to please everyone and suppressing my thoughts in team meetings, because it no longer servers my career. I am nervous to speak up or give suggestions, as I don’t want to come across bossy or sound silly. I am going to change this, because it will help me grow and will allow me to share my ideas.

4.From starting this course I understood how supervision is important and helps to clear the doubts your mind has. it not only in the business professions but it also helps a person in their personal life. in one sentence, I will reveal to you I figured out how to turn into a fruitful pioneer. To accomplish it, I will put the idea of a worker chief toward the start of my rundown. I got comfortable with the idea of development outlook and how we can control our psyches and develop our abilities.

one thing I need to give up attempting to satisfy everybody and smothering my musings in group gatherings since it no longer workers my profession.
