Winston Salem State The Interaction Between Biological and Social Factors Paper
Question Description
One of the first biological theorists was Cesare Lombroso, the 19th-century psychiatrist who authored Criminal Man. Lombroso’s text claimed that most criminals were a holdover from an earlier stage in evolution, biologically different from normal, law-abiding people. Criminals can be identified by their physical characteristics, which mirror their twisted and feeble minds.
